I am not sure specifically what you are asking for. Are you wanting to build a mosiac application in EBIF ? If so Ligos Corporation has an EBIF authoring system that can be used to build such an application it also can be used as a real time playout and EBIF application carousel. You can video thumbnails and also define elements such as graphics and text to be applied and composited to the MPEG2 video plane and leave the interactive overlay button widgets and text widgets for the STB to render to the graphics plane. In this manner you can build the complete mosiac with the video and audio es streams for the MPEG2 transport alonge with the EBIF EISS and Resouce streams to be into the mux.

The authoring system does have its own UI but we do have an external xml api that one could use to build another ui or control layer other than what Ligos provides.
